Service Description

An Outstanding (2016 CQC rating) and national award winning GP surgery providing primary health care services solely for those adults experiencing homelessness within Oxford city.

Key opening hours:

  • 8-9am - telephone lines open only
  • New registrations 9am-12pm daily
  • 9am-1pm - drop-in, book-on-the-day appointments with GPs, nurses, MHP and the social prescriber
  • 1-2pm - closed
  • 2-5pm - drop-in, book-on-the-day and booked appointments with GPs, nurses, MHP and the social prescriber (closed Thursday afternoons, except for acupuncture appointments)

Please call to book an appointment or alternatively turn up at the surgery and the team will assist you in obtaining an appointment which may, or may not, be on the same day depending on availability.

Based in the city centre on Luther Street and next door to O'Hanlon House hostel, offering access to:

  • GPs and Nurses
  • Mental Health Practitioners
  • Social Prescribers (PROgress supports and assists people in identifying and achieving their goals) - read more about this service
  • Addiction Worker (via Turning Point) 
  • Dentistry (Tuesdays only)
  • Acupuncture (every Thursday afternoon)
