To mark Volunteers' Week 2026, local building company SDC will volunteer with three of OHM's partner charities

Volunteers' Week is an annual UK-wide campaign to celebrate and recognise the contributions of volunteers, this year running from 1st-7th June. Looking to support their local community during Volunteers' Week, SDC Builders reached out to OHM and were connected with three of our amazing partners in need of assistance. Teams from SDC will assist with decorating properties of Connection Support and Homeless Oxfordshire, including supported accommodation for people experiencing homelessness. SDC will also support The Gatehouse, transporting furniture for their new counselling rooms. 

SDC are a long-term supporter of OHM, having taken part in the last three OHM CEO Sleepouts in Oxford and have raised thousands for our front-line project work. We and our partners are incredibly grateful to SDC for their offer of help, and for all the support they have given to us over the years.
