Accessibility Statement

OXFORDSHIREHOMELESSMOVEMENT.ORG (OHMTEAM.ORG) "our website" is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and working to apply the relevant accessibility standards.

Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.

From our own assessment, we understand our website to be conformant with WCAG 2.1 Levels A and AA. We have no plan or capacity to conform with Level AAA at this time.

Areas of improvement in 2024 included:

conformance at Level A and Level AA, including:
the homepage parsed as valid HTML using validator.w3.org/nu on 26.11.24
a link to an accessibility statement was provided in the website footer area
our charter form explains what will happen to your data prior to submission
guideline 2.1: you can tab to a question and click enter and it shows. You can tab to a subsequent different question and click enter and it shows

Areas of improvement in 2023 included:

easier language in ‘I need help’
improving the Daily Services food timetable so that it can be read by assistive technology
meaningful link names across the site
