OHM calls on local business and academic leaders to join the 2025 CEO Sleepout Oxford to support the homelessness cause.

Oxfordshire, 3rd July, 2025

With an ambitious target of £100,000, OHM is calling on 70 CEO’s, business and academic leaders and teams from across the county to sign up to this year’s #CEOSleepout and get fundraising to help people who are homeless locally.

Each year, Oxfordshire’s most influential leaders spend one night, whatever the weather, under the stars – raising vital funds for our front-line projects and learning about what they can do to help people across the County.

With each person taking part committing to raise a minimum of £1,000. last year’s event raised over £96,000, funding life-changing services including providing much needed accommodation and starting a project to help fill gaps in provision for women. Don’t miss your chance to help us surpass that target with a bigger turnout and greater impact.

Project Director, Yvonne Pinner said “Homelessness in Oxfordshire is a challenge that requires a collective community response and we use CEO Sleepout because it’s a great way to get local businesses involved. We want to be clear that we don’t pretend for one second that this event is any way close to what it feels like to sleep rough. People leave the event feeling emotional and sleep deprived and do take with them a better understanding about homelessness - not least because they get to hear directly from people who have experienced it. They can then take these messages back to their personal and business lives and spread the messages wider than we could ever hope to - often making further commitments about how they can help. All this while fundraising - creating lasting local impact with all funds going towards frontline projects. There’s no limit on numbers, so please – join us!”
