#CEOSleepout 2024 Raises Over £80,000
Oxford, 15th October, 2024
The 2024 #CEOSleepout campaign is still taking donations, with fundraisers so far achieving over £80,000
The event—held 10th October to mark World Homeless Day—was made even more memorable by a stunning display of the northern lights over Oxford city.
Organiser OHM say it's not too late to give your financial applause to a fundraiser of your choice. Just head to the national CEOSleepout website and browse the participants. There are approximately 60 to choose from representing 40 different organisations across the county.
All funds raised will support OHM's core projects and partners, such as giving those with lived experience of homelessness a say and ensuring their voices are heard about how services run, providing housing for those with no recourse to public funds, creating personalisation budgets for those recently housed, and assisting the new cross-sector work to improve services for women.
Local homeless charities also used the platform to raise funds directly themselves. Those funds will now go directly to them.
A heartfelt thank you to all participants, those who have donated, and our wonderful hosts at University Parks. (Photos are being added to our event page.)
THANK YOU...
