Oxfordshire Homeless Movement
Festival of Feedback Now Feeds Back—With Input From CHI
Oxford, 19th March 2024
At an exciting festival event, held 11-12 July 2023, the workings of the local homelessness system as a whole were reviewed by 28 people experiencing homelessness, and 16 frontline practitioners.
Participants took part in a ‘what helps, what hinders’ activity; an ‘aspiration station’; post boxes for feedback to alliance members; filmed feedback; and networking conversation.
With careful analysis given by the UK Centre for Homelessness Impact—CHI—the event outcomes are now published by the lived experience advisory forum for Oxfordshire—LEAF.
The report clarifies that people experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity, and frontline staff, all want to see:
- Open and accountable services
- Streamlined processes
- Support for the whole person
- Support for the whole journey
- Working together to achieve the best outcomes.
Full details are available in the report linked below.
