Oxfordshire Homeless Movement

Oxfordshire, 1st December 2025

As they always do, Besselsleigh (or Bessels Leigh), the lovely village and civil parish about 4.5 miles southwest of Oxford, are kindly raising funds for OHM. Their Christmas lights (running from 7th December to 1st January) are amazing and have attracted even international attention for many years.

A spokesperson from the lights display has said, "As per previous years we have partnered with Oxfordshire Homeless Movement, because we believe everyone deserves a safe, warm place to call home, and no one should have to face the cold and uncertainty of homelessness. By joining forces with this incredible organisation, we can work together to provide not only shelter but also essential resources, support, and hope for those in need."

Visitors watching the lights from their slow-passing cars can scan a QR code on posters around the village to donate online; and a donation box is in place those on foot. For anyone who missed the opportunity, they can make a donation here

Make sure you visit this wonderful display which as a reminder, starts on 7th December and runs right through until 1st January.
