World-leading B Corp Grace & Green To Help First Women’s Rough Sleeping Census
Oxford, 12th September, 2024
World-leading B Corp Grace & Green will distribute free hygiene products as part of the national Women’s Rough Sleeping Census in Oxfordshire this year.
It’s the first year Oxfordshire is taking part. OHM is helping the local homeless sector to spot the gaps in what is provided for women affected by the homelessness issue. The aim is to ensure future services are made so that vulnerable women are better protected and helped.
Grace & Green is a leading for-profit corporation certified by B Lab for its social impact. Their focus is on sustainability, access and education. They want to make access to safe, sustainable period products a basic right. Through their Period Dignity scheme and in partnership with not-for-profits, they work to bring period products and dignity to the people who need it the most.
OHM recently gathered all relevant services for women into one easy-to-use web page. Today women in need and their case workers can more quickly find the right help. This and the Census are just a beginning—but all of the partners in the sector want to see change.
The timely donation from the B Corp—free of cost, and free of stigma—will be sent out via 8 partners in the sector:
