Service Description
The Beacon is a place where people can go to find a warm, accepting environment and friendly atmosphere. They welcome anyone who is suffering from homelessness, mental health or substance misuse issues, or anyone feeling isolated and marginalised within society.
Key functions & activities offered
The Beacon—now reopened by Connection Support—offers:
- hot drinks and simple snacks
- a listening ear
- advice
- links to other agencies which may be of help
- occasional visit from Cherwell District Council Homelessness prevention officer and Turning Point—drug and alcohol agency
